Colors With A Streak is an amazing sire by the famous COLOR ME SMART who is still in the top 5 APHA Sires for money earner in the WORLD for Reined Cow Horse & Cutting at 32 years old! How’s that for a resume? Not only is Streaker bred to work cows, rein, or do whatever you’d like, he has the mind to go any direction as well! He’s an absolute marshmallow, and he’s passing it onto his foals! We’re also finding that whatever size the mare is we breed him to, is what size the foal tends to be, he’s consistently putting nice minded foals on the ground with pretty heads, excellent conformation, and all sorts of pretty! They are also consistently the size, if not bigger & taller than their mommas, so these babies are excellent all around mounts, they have the brains & athleticism for working cow horse & reining, but the variety of mares we’re breeding Streaker to, will make these babies excel in any/every direction you can think or dream of! Dressage, working equitation, cowboy challenge, ranch horse, jumping, competitive trail horse, mounted shooting, trick pony, you name it, we have your dream unicorn.

Did I mention he’s also HOMOZYGOUS for the Tobiano gene, as well as BLACK BASE, so every foal that hits the ground at Nilson Farms will have Paint Colouring, and be black based too, so no sorrels, or red duns, or unfortunately any palomino foals with our Streaker babies. However, we expect to see lots of Grullo, buckskin, duns, blacks, blue roans & bays! We all know that these darker colours have better contrast with our painted horses anyway.
